Corey Chaplin – Lead Pastor
Corey grew 
up in Warrensburg, MO. He attended the University of Central Missouri where he received a B.S. in Business Administration. While in college, Corey was an intern with his local church (First Baptist Church of Warrensburg). In 2016, he and his wife Jamie graduated, got married, and moved to Kansas City so he could pursue an M.Div at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During their time in Kansas City, Jamie and Corey were members at Emmaus Church where Corey also completed a Pastoral Residency program. With family ties to the Northeast, Corey and Jamie had a heart to go to New England after seminary. In May of 2019, Corey and Jamie moved to Bristol, RI to serve at Mount Hope Church. During their 5 years at MHC, Corey served as a Pastoral Assistant and Assistant Pastor. Corey and Jamie have two children: Lyla and Millie. Corey enjoys sports (especially New England sports), reading, watching movies, and going on walks and adventures with his family.
Peter Johnson – Elder
Peter lives in Barrington, RI and is employed as an Insurance Senior Systems Analyst. He is married to Nancy and has two grown children. Peter’s particular area of interest in ministry is missions. He chairs the mission’s committee and has an active interest in the welfare of the children at the Bethel Training Center in China. He likes to spend his free time reading and doing all sorts of outdoor activities. Hebrews 13:6
Nathan Luciano – Elder
Nathan lives in Pawtucket, RI with his wife Alisa, and their two children. He works in the financial industry. Nathan enjoys helping in the ministry, combining practical business experience and scriptural ideas together for the advancement of the church. He is interested in seeing people come to know the truth and hope that Christ gives, and the fulfillment found only in the good news of Scripture.
